A new month. A new fragrance. A little piece of France to discover.
Each month, Un Mois en France takes you somewhere new through fragrance — a remembered place, a changing season, a small moment of French life.
Your monthly subscription includes 10 hand-poured wax melts in an exclusive fragrance created for that month, accompanied by a beautifully printed bilingual story card telling the inspiration behind it.
With approximately 13 hours of fragrance from each melt, every monthly edition offers up to 130 hours of fragrance.

Each monthly fragrance is created exclusively for members of Un Mois en France and will not be available to purchase from our regular collection.
If you fall in love with your month's fragrance, you'll have the opportunity to order additional pouches while stocks remain.

A little note about our first edition
N°01 — Septembre marks the beginning of Un Mois en France. As this is our launch edition, La Fin de l'Été will be dispatched on 1 October, or available for collection from our shop in Boussac from 1 October.
After our first edition, Un Mois en France will settle into its monthly rhythm, with each new fragrance dispatched at the end of the preceding month, ready for the month ahead.
Your next edition will therefore be N°02 — Novembre, dispatched at the end of October. You will not be charged for an October edition.

Rapeseed and coconut wax was an obvious choice for us, it’s entirely natural, vegan, burns cleanly and evenly and pairs well with our linen and cotton wicks.
All of our fragrance oils are vegan friendly, cruelty free and paraben free.
Our amber glass jars are made from 45% recycled glass, our labels are recyclable, biodegradable,vegan.

Candle Care
Candle Care
*Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to 5mm.
* On the first burn, you want to ensure that the first layer has completely liquified, otherwise, you get wax that adheres to the edges of the candle, causing tunnelling for every burn afterwards.
* Place candle on a safe, inflammable surface, using candle holders / candle mats.
* Keep out of the reach of children & pets.
* To avoid burning yourself, DO NOT touch the glass when the candle is lit.
* Keep away from draughts and things that are flammable.
* Always keep 10cm apart from another candle.
* Never leave a burning candle unattended.
* Keep the wax pool free of impurities & objects such as matches to prevent flaring.
* Extinguish sooting candles and trim the week to 5mm before relighting.
* Do not burn a candle all the way down. Once your candle reaches 10mm, it's time to say goodbye & stop burning it.
* Light your candle for no longer than 2 1/2 hrs at a time. Once extinguished the scent will still linger and continue to fill the room.
Burning candles for longer means the wax becomes hotter, meaning it can burn off the fragrance too quickly.
